Accounts and your library

Gamescape uses Webifyr’s Ultra account service to sign you in. The service stores your account information and authentication credentials. When you save a story, its identifier is stored in a Gamescape-specific list on your account so that you can access it on another device.

Browser storage

Your browser stores your selected color theme and authentication session. This keeps you signed in between visits. Signing out clears the current session from this browser.

External services

Choosing a social sign-in provider takes you through that provider’s authentication process. Sharing buttons only open the service you choose; social tracking widgets are not embedded. Game trailers load from Steam’s video servers (operated by Valve) only when you press play, and “View on Steam” links open Steam. Promotional links take you to Sorceress and include a source parameter identifying Gamescape.

Your choices

You can remove individual saved stories using their bookmark buttons, and sign out from your library. You can also clear this site’s browser storage through your browser settings. Google Analytics measures public-page visits, referral sources and interactions using cookies and browser/device information. Account pages are excluded from our analytics tag. We do not send account email addresses or saved-story lists, and the page URLs sent by our tag exclude query strings and fragments. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. You can block Google Analytics using your browser privacy controls or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
